The story reflects our focus on skin health
“In 2014, I founded RÅ Skincare with my eldest daughter Amanda. As a skincare formulator with 21 years of experience, I have always been fascinated by ingredients, skin and formulations – especially for sensitive skin. My interest arose when two of my daughters developed atopic eczema as infants, and I myself developed a strong perfume allergy after several years in the cosmetics industry. This is the main reason why we have chosen to avoid perfume and other irritants that can contribute to creating or worsening skin problems.
We develop our products in close collaboration with experienced chemists and toxicologists, using some of the world’s most renowned laboratories to source high-quality active ingredients. Together, we create skincare that is built on our experience, passion and care for the skin.”

RÅ Skincare is a Norwegian and natural skincare range developed to meet the unique challenges that the Nordic climate presents. In a country with cold winter months and dry air, the skin barrier is often weakened, making the skin more susceptible to irritation and sensitivity. The products from RÅ are specially developed to protect, strengthen and restore the skin's natural barrier.
The range contains active, skin-like ingredients with a proven effect on skin health and appearance. RÅ is known for its gentle and skin-friendly formulations that are free of both perfume and preservatives. This makes the products ideal for sensitive skin and people who want a gentle but effective skincare routine.

Amanda shares her skin journey
Ever since I was a baby, my skin has required extra care. I was born with atopic eczema, and already as an infant my mother discovered the importance of good skin care. My personal skin journey gave me a natural interest in skin health, especially treating sensitive skin.
Throughout my life, I have met many people who have felt hopeless about skin problems such as rosacea, acne or eczema. I know that feeling – not feeling comfortable in your own skin and spending both time and money on products that do not work. It is this understanding that drives my work. I have spent over 17 years in the cosmetics industry learning, exploring and developing solutions for people with challenging skin.
I have been fortunate to learn from some of the best in the industry, and being able to share this knowledge is something I am truly passionate about. My biggest motivation is to help others. When I see how the right skincare can make a noticeable difference, it gives me an enormous sense of joy and meaning. That is why we also collaborate with organizations like the Norwegian Psoriasis and Eczema Association, because I know how important it is to spread knowledge and create confidence around skin health.
My biggest driving force is to help more people feel comfortable in their own skin – because everyone deserves to have skin health they are happy with.
