Large pores
Pores are small openings in the skin where sebum from the sebaceous glands comes out to the surface of the skin. Everyone has pores, but how visible they are varies from person to person.
Large or visible pores are often more prominent in the T-zone – especially on and around the nose, forehead and chin. They are influenced by factors such as genetics, sebum production and age. When pores fill with sebum and dead skin cells, they can appear larger. With age, reduced firmness and elasticity in the skin can also make pores more visible.
How to reduce the visibility of large pores?
It is not possible to permanently change the skin's natural pore size. However, with proper skin care, we can balance excess sebum and help make pores appear less visible.
Avoid drying out your skin in an attempt to reduce sebum production. Oily and combination skin also needs moisture and a strong skin barrier.
Skincare routine for large pores
Step 1: Pure Lipid Cleanser
Dissolves sunscreen, makeup and excess sebum without stripping the skin. Tips for minimizing pores. Cleanse an extra time with this and spend a few minutes massaging areas with large pores. This can help dissolve sebum using the “oil dissolves oil” principle. Finish by washing away with a warm cloth.
Step 2: Pore Clarifying Cleanser
A gentle deep cleanser that helps remove excess sebum and keep pores clean. If you have combination skin, it can be concentrated on the T-zone. Leave on the skin for 2-3 minutes a couple of times a week as a proper deep cleanser.
Step 3: Serum
Correcting Serum is combined with a moisturizer adapted to your skin type. Active ingredients help improve skin texture and increase skin elasticity so that pores appear smaller. A slightly more oily consistency.
Multi-active serum has a slightly gel-like consistency and contains niacinamide and peptides that work to make pores less visible.
Step 4: Moisturizer
Choose a moisturizer that is right for your skin type. Even skin with visible pores and high sebum production needs moisture to maintain a healthy skin barrier. Well-hydrated and balanced skin will also have a smoother skin surface.
The goal is not pore-free skin, but healthy and balanced skin where pores appear less visible.
