Aqua (water)
Purified, Norwegian water is used to release active ingredients in our moisturizers. Water is a natural part of the skin and important for moisture balance.
Jojoba Oil (Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Oil)
A non-comedogenic oil suitable for all skin types, including oily and acne-prone skin. Mimics the skin's natural sebum, balances oil production and has a soothing effect. Rich in antioxidants such as vitamin E, protects against environmental damage and premature aging.
Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride
An emollient oil that does not clog pores. Mimics the skin's natural triglycerides and is suitable for all skin types.
Squalane
A stabilized form of squalene, found naturally in the skin. Acts as a powerful antioxidant, rebuilds the skin barrier and prevents moisture loss. Also has emollient and soothing properties.
Cetearyl Alcohol
A mild fatty alcohol that provides texture and softens. Well suited for sensitive skin.
Glycerin
A natural humectant extracted from sugar cane. Binds moisture and supports the skin's moisture balance (NMF).
Lactobacillus/Rice Ferment
Fermented rice using Lactobacillus bacteria, which breaks down nutrients into bioactive compounds such as enzymes, peptides and amino acids. This process improves the availability and efficacy of the ingredients. Moisturizes the skin, strengthens the skin barrier and supports a balanced skin microbiome.
Hydrogenated Lecithin
A stabilized form of lecithin with a high content of phospholipids, which are essential building blocks of cell membranes. Has a barrier-strengthening and soothing effect, while contributing to better moisture retention. Sustainably extracted from sunflower oil.
Alpha-Glucan Oligosaccharide
A prebiotic sugar compound that promotes the growth of beneficial bacteria on the skin. Contributes to a balanced microbiome, strengthened barrier and improved moisture levels.
Zinc Lactate
A bioactive combination of zinc and lactic acid with documented antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects. Regulates sebum production and helps strengthen both the skin barrier and the skin's natural moisture balance.
Niacinamide (Nicotinamide Riboside)
An advanced form of vitamin B3 that increases levels of NAD? – a coenzyme essential for skin cell renewal and repair. Reduces moisture loss, evens out skin tone, reduces pigmentation, strengthens the skin barrier and regulates sebum production.
Ethyl Linoleate
A stable ester of linoleic acid, an essential fatty acid found naturally in skin lipids. Has a documented effect on reducing acne, redness and clogged pores. Has sebum-regulating and anti-inflammatory effects, and contributes to a healthier skin barrier.
Zinc PCA
An effective combination of zinc and PCA (pyrrolidone carboxylic acid), a natural moisturizing factor found in the skin. Zinc PCA has sebum-regulating and antibacterial properties, making it ideal for oily, blemished or acne-prone skin. At the same time, the PCA component helps maintain the skin's moisture balance, without drying it out.
Panthenol (dexpanthenol)
An active form of provitamin B5. Increases skin moisture levels and has a soothing and repairing effect.
Triheptanoin
An ultra-light triglyceride that mimics the skin's own lipids. Helps soften skin, strengthen barrier function and improve skin suppleness – without being comedogenic (clogging). Absorbs quickly and leaves a silky smooth finish.
Caprylyl Glycol
Emollient and humectant with antimicrobial properties. Protects the product against bacterial growth. Derived from vegetable fatty acids. It is not classified as a preservative according to the EU Cosmetics Regulation (1223/2009 – Annex V).
Tocopherol (Vitamin E)
A potent antioxidant that protects against free radicals and oxidative stress.
Xanthan Gum
A natural thickener produced by fermenting sugar with Xanthomonas campestris. Provides stability and viscosity without irritating the skin.
Propanediol
A humectant and emollient that also improves the absorption of other ingredients. Derived from corn.
Maltitol
A mild sugar alcohol that moisturizes, softens and improves texture. Suitable for sensitive skin.
Glyceryl Caprylate
Natural emulsifier and humectant with antimicrobial properties. Stabilizes emulsions and improves the skin barrier. Derived from glycerin and vegetable fatty acids. It is not classified as a preservative according to the EU Cosmetics Regulation (1223/2009 – Annex V).
Lactic Acid 90% (lactic acid)
A natural moisturizer that is part of the skin's NMF. Strengthens moisture balance and barrier, and can stimulate ceramide production. We use lactic acid from plant sugars to regulate pH and in some products to provide a mild exfoliating effect.
