Face cream for normal to dry, sensitive skin
Favn Eye and Facial Cream is a rich and protective face and eye cream formulated specifically with sensitive skin in mind – without compromising on its proven anti-aging benefits. It is designed to gently strengthen, protect and balance the skin, while actively working on glow, firmness and an even skin tone.
The formulation is based on stable vitamin C (Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate), chosen over the more familiar form ascorbic acid (L-ascorbic acid), which requires a low pH (below approx. 3.5) to be stable and effective. Such a low pH can be irritating to sensitive skin. By using a stable and skin-friendly form of vitamin C, you get antioxidant protection and collagen stimulation, without unnecessary stress to the skin.
The cream combines stable vitamin C with acetyl zingerone – an advanced, skin-friendly antioxidant known for its soothing and protective properties. Together, they protect the skin from oxidative stress and low-grade inflammation (“inflammaging”), processes that over time can contribute to the breakdown of collagen and a weakened skin barrier. Vitamin C stimulates collagen synthesis and contributes to firmer, clearer and more vital skin. Acetyl zingerone protects the skin’s DNA, lipids and proteins, and helps the skin maintain calm, strength and vitality.
Golden jojoba oil, squalane, glycerin and sodium hyaluronate provide skin-like lipids and long-lasting moisture. The result is skin that feels soft, balanced and comfortable all day long. The formula absorbs well and leaves a smooth, supple finish, without discomfort or redness. It is equally suitable as an eye cream as a face cream.
