Golden Milk: rosacea-friendly recipe
Golden Milk (turmeric latte) is a popular drink that many people enjoy as a calming evening routine. It contains turmeric , which is known for its anti-inflammatory properties , partly because it contains the compound curcumin .

Rosacea is often about inflammation of the skin, and many people enjoy Golden Milk as part of a holistic routine that supports the body. At the same time, rosacea is very individual: hot drinks and strong spices can trigger flushing in some people. That's why this recipe is made in a milder "rosacea-friendly" version . It tastes absolutely delicious. This one is made with less pepper and ginger so as not to trigger redness in rosacea.

You need:
A small pinch of pepper
2.5 dl oat milk
1/2 teaspoon turmeric
1/8 tsp ginger powder (a little, as more may trigger some)
1/4 teaspoon Ceylon cinnamon
1/8 tsp cardamom
1 tsp honey (or to taste)
How to Make Golden Milk (3–5 Minutes)
- Pour oat milk into a small saucepan and heat over low heat (do not boil).
- Whisk in turmeric, ginger powder, Ceylon cinnamon and cardamom.
- Let it steep for 2–3 minutes on low heat.
- Remove from heat and let the drink cool slightly.
- Stir in honey at the end. Remember that honey should not be added to very hot drinks.
- Feel free to froth with a milk frother if you want a “latte” feel.
